I know you can just open the song with osu closed and it'll load up right away, or you can move all of the downloads into the folder with osu closed.

In any case, by default osu!lazer's files are stored in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\osu, so if you want to free up storage space, you should just be able to delete that folder.
