I turned off the radio and the lights on dash would flash - NOT the check engine light and the needles would drop and then ...The alternator for the dealership is filthy, as if it just came out of an engine, and it says 'honda remanufactured' on it. Pull the battery, put it on a 3A charger, and get to work changing the alternator. About 1 hour later I'm done. Put everything back together, reconnect the battery terminals.If not fresh oil leaking into your new alternator can make it intermittently flash the check charging system light. Got it all sorted out. For whatever reason, the new nut the new alternator brought got loose. Replaced it with an all metal self locking nut.
