It only takes silk and rhino hide to make at it's core so I'd say that's easily replaceable if lost. The medium armor rating is really good too. I usually consume an agility potion and salted exquisite meat for a 30% agility boost. 10 points in strength for finisher, and 20 point agility extra damage after dodge all combine for some big numbers.
